IMotion.ResetAxis method

Makes the transition from the state ErrorStop to Standstill or Disabled by resetting all internal axis-related errors — it doesn't affect the output of the method instances.

Parameters

Index [in]

Type: int

The index of an axis. Indexes are zero based. Aliases affect this parameter.

Return value

Type: KsCommandStatus

Returns the KsCommandStatus class.

Remarks

When an error occurs on the axis, it sends an alarm and enters the ErrorStop state. This method can clear the alarm.
